Restorative Design: Confluence Project's Bird Blind

Join Confluence Project for an interpretive walk to Maya Lin's Bird Blind at the confluence of the Sandy and Columbia Rivers. The Bird Blind employs art, design, and the journals of Lewis and Clark to consider evolving land ethic and legacy. This is an easy, 2.5 round trip walk that will also speak to current environmental restoration work happening at the Sandy River Delta.

To get to the Sandy River Delta from PDX, head east on I-84. Exit 18, near Troutdale. Turn right at the T-stop, looping around under the HWY. Turn left into Sandy River Delta entrance. Do not enter on to I-84 West. Meet the group by the Kiosk in the parking lot. Be sure to lock car and do not leave valuables in the car.
